Dr. R. K. Anand, MD (Paediatrics), FIAP (India), FRCP (Edinburgh), DCH (London), is one of India’s senior-most Paediatricians and is the
Head of the Department of Paediatrics and Neonatology at Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. He is a Fellow of the Indian
Academy of Pediatrics and of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh. Dr. Anand has been an advisor and a resource person for the
child care programmes of several organisations such as UNICEF, World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action and Association for Consumers’
Action on Safety and Health. He has been a regular contributor to national and international scientific journals, and has authored
several books on child care.
